Invisalign Clear Aligners

Invisalign braces are the perfect option for those who want straight teeth, but don’t want people to know they’re wearing braces. These clear braces are incredibly discreet, can be easily removed and are custom-made so that they are comfortable to wear!

Invisalign Treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.
This means that during your Invisalign treatment, you can eat and drink what you like, leaving you to relax whilst they align your teeth in the background! The smooth, plastic material makes them comfortable to wear and difficult for others to detect.

Since your Invisalign braces are removable, it’s much easier to take care of your teeth. Just remove your trays when you are ready to brush and floss your teeth and then pop them back in when you have finished. The trays themselves can also be cleaned.

You could save time by opting for Invisalign as there are generally less Orthodontic appointments required. The results can be amazing and your newly straightened teeth can be a real boost to your confidence. Come and see us if you are interested in Invisalign and we can give you our best advice.

Invisalign Process

1. Consultation and 3D Scan

Our dentist Matt will assess the issues you have with your teeth and discuss possible Invisalign® treatment plans to find the option that is most suitable for you. We will scan your teeth using our iTero scanner, no impressions required!! A full mouth radiograph and photographs will be taken as part of your records to create your customised individual treatment plan.

2. ClinCheck Planning

Following your consultation with our Invisalign® dentist, a 3D computerised image of your teeth will be made to show you what your new smile will look like and week by week how it will change.

3. Alignment

You will wear each set of customised aligners for 22 hours per day for one week before exchanging them for the next set in the series. Your teeth will move little by little, week by week until they have straightened to the final position. Typically, you will wear your Invisalign® braces for a total of 4-6 months and the number of aligners worn during Invisalign® treatment is usually between 10 and 26, depending on your custom plan.

4. Smile

Once you have finished your custom Invisalign plan you will whiten your teeth using our professional at home Boutique whitening. Any final tweaks to tooth shape/ contour can be made with composite or veneers. Retainers will be made to stop your teeth from moving.

Have a question?

Invisalign packages include all appointments, aligners, removable retainers and Boutique professional whitening. One set of teeth is just £2700 and both sets of teeth is just £3700. Invisalign express can be used in some situations where very minor movements are required and is from £1500.

0% finance is available for up to 12 months subject to a credit check with our finance provider Tabeo.

From your 3D scan, photographs and records, Matt develops a bespoke treatment plan which will show you your predicted outcome and the number of weeks needed to straighten your teeth. Most adult Invisalign cases take around 6 months, but some as little as 10 weeks.

Step one – a full dental health examination, 3D scan of your teeth and bite, x-rays and photographs.

Step two – a customised digital plan (clincheck) is created for you to show you your predicted outcome and time frame. Any modifications can then be made and then the custom aligners are ordered.

Step three – an appointment is arranged to fit your first aligner. You’ll wear each one for 22 hours per day and remove it for eating and drinking only. Your teeth will begin to gently align to give you the smile of your dreams.

Step four – monthly reviews are completed to make sure that everything is going to plan.

Step five – towards the end we whiten your teeth and then complete any composite bonding/ tooth contour improvements that you may wish and then a 3D scan is taken to make retainers.

Matt has completed post graduate training in Orthodontics (teeth straightening): attaining a PgCert. He is recognised by Invisalign as an “Elite” provider. You can see some cases below and on Instagram @mattdental
